What’s that thing with the world nowadays?
You think everything keeps changing all the time, but at the same time, nothing ever changes. Caught in an endless loop of all emotional states at once, oftentimes in the same exact instance. Distinctions are becoming blurry, yet divides are sharper than ever. We learn to feel everything and nothing at the same time. That thing in your hand making you believe you have some kind of power over the world, in all your hyper individualism. Yet it’s just a clever disguise that millions of people feel, dream or suffer exactly like you. But because it only knows what we all did, have done, past tense – yesterday, the day, before, and the day before, it doesn’t show us a future. If you liked this, you’ll like this. The future can only ever be the past, playing back to you the echos of your own behavior. We are managed, not inspired. Can you really imagine a future that hasn’t already existed?
BELIEVE is a story about when life just happens. Not in straight lines, but curvy, bent. Unexpected, yet always connected. A series of imaginary fragments, dreamt up from different parts, characters, story lines and emotional states of our world. Coming together for a new way of physical inspirations. Brutally real life.
